Katrina Kaif Stuns In Rs 7.4 Lakh Tiffany’s Wedding Ring, Custom Kaleeras And A Sabyasachi Veil With A Punjabi Touch
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif finally tied the knot yesterday, and the entire nation came together to celebrate the power of love with beautiful pictures of the couple making their way in every home. Dressed as the royal and classic Sabyasachi bride and groom, the two finally said ‘I do’ in a traditional fashion at Six Senses Resort Barwara, in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. While we all know that nothing, absolutely nothing has been the talk of the town except the two actor’s marriage but what seems to have stolen their thunder is the extremely beautiful wedding ring worn by Katrina Kaif (is that Tiffany’s?).

Quite an unconventional piece that we spotted on a celebrity bride in a long time. Sporting a rectangular diamond ring. Mr Kaushal opted for a Tiffany Soleste engagement ring in Platinum with two intricate layers of fine diamond and the showstopper blue sapphire gracing the centre, which reportedly costs a whopping amount of Rs 7.4 lakh (quite an expensive bling!).
We know that the blue sapphire definitely took the center stage, but Vicky Kaushal’s platinum band too had its moment. Wearing a platinum Tiffany Classic wedding band, the ring was worth Rs. 1,28,580 (It’s Tiffany’s for the groom too).
Jewellery definitely defines a bride’s dream ensemble, and with Katrina Kaif, each piece had a special story to it. Wearing custom-made chooda and kaleera, by the label Raabta by Rahul, the gold kaleeras came with a hint of red and purple threads attached. Sharing further about the design, the label mentioned on its Instagram handle, “Keeping gold as the main element, kaleeras were sketched & curated with handmade tassels/Balls gold beads with multiple chattar handcrafted in gold & Red enamelled details over days of work at RaAbta Headquarters In Delhi.”

While this was not the only set of kaleeras that made it to Katrina Kaif’s D-Day hand stack, a custom-made set designed by jewellery designer Mrinalini Chandra, made it even more special. Attached to each bangle, the seven messenger doves came with a special note by the bride herself. With significant motives like ‘Om’ and a few words from the Holy Bible like ‘Elysian’ the one-of-a-kind added a special meaning to her wedding jewellery (Wow, kaleeras are really making it big this season).
