More about the Fall/Winter 2022 Collection

Disappearing collars and contrasting colours, the collection appeared with a renovated look of outerwear. It exhibited crisp, powerful designs, manufactured through padded shoulders, extreme layering and fabric play. The usual black formals were seen replaced by high-on colour leather pants, bow-ties eliminated by turtlenecks and form-fitting blazers skipped for boiler suits. Bringing the lost grandeur to office wear, the loud tailoring came attached to extensive use of sheen, and an added cool accessory– colourful hand gloves. Other accessories included futuristic bag silhouettes, the re-introduction of man purse and square-toe black shoes, being a constant throughout the lineup. Infusing colour play in shifts, shades like bubblegum pink, coral green, and yellow made cameos through pant hemlines and waistbands.

What additionally caught attention was the usage of faux fur, around the coat trims, well-defined shoulders and tighter waists. Moreover, the collection acts upon the idea of longevity with an aim to introduce a new classic. Each piece is an attempt to bring a sense of occasion to everyday activities. Welcoming the energy that craves to witness the post-Covid era and the idea of dressing up to work, the collection is a representation of heightened actuality, as suggested by the label. The line-up hints at the newly formed reality established by a youthful attitude, making workwear nothing short of an occasion.
