‘Bridgerton’ Season 2 Stars Dropped Their Corsets For Chic Outfits For The London Premiere. Diamonds Of The First Water, All Of Them!
The season two of the worldwide phenomenon from Netflix, based on a book series by Julia Quinn set in the Regency era, Bridgerton is all set to hit our screens on March 25. The world premiere event for Bridgerton Season 2 was held at the Tate Modern in London on Tuesday. And to say it was glamourous would be an understatement. Now apart from the OG Bridgerton family cast, we also spotted some new cast members like Simone Ashley and Calam Lynch. Now, I’m no Lady Whistledown but I’ve got some deets about who wore what at this much talked about premiere.
Simone Ashley, who plays Kate Sharma in Bridgerton Season 2, was spotted wearing a statement outfit from Gucci’s spring/summer 2022 collection. She wore a white crop top with a dramatic neckline and statement shoulders along with full-coverage lace gloves. She paired it with a high-waisted semi-sheer maxi skirt with a velvet frill hem along with fishnet stockings and a pair of strappy heels. But TBH, we’re loving her pink statement eyeshadow, plum lipstick and simple drop earrings.

Charithra Chandran, who plays Kate Sharma’s younger sister Edwina Sharma, stunned in a piece from Carolina Herrera Spring/Summer 2022 Ready-to-wear collection at the Bridgerton Season 2 premiere. The actress wore a polka-dotted red floral printed off-shoulder dress with a massive train. It featured a ruffled bodice, statement sleeves that turned into a train as well. She put the look together with a pair of black strappy heels, bright red lips and drop earrings much similar to her on-screen sister.
