Ananya Panday Ditches A Sequins Saree And Trusts This Printed Lehenga For Umang 2022
It is rare that you see actress Ananya Panday slay a pretty lehenga choli. Noting her personal style, which often leans towards basic t-shirts and denim, a spectacular ghaghara choli in the Gehraiyaan actress’ wardrobe is nothing short of a surprise. Dishing out an Indian ethnic look, Ananya shared new pictures wearing a printed lehenga. She dressed up for Umang Awards 2022, and was styled by celebrity stylist–Meagan Concessio for the special event.

For the awards night, Ananya skipped the classic Indian drape and tried her hands on a printed lehenga. She pulled out a piece from the shelves of label–Torani. The two-piece set incorporated a refreshing mix of geometric and floral prints, which is the label’s signature design . The former was seen imprinted on the choli, while the latter print covered the gorgeous skirt. Staying away from heavily embellished designs, the lehenga on Ananya was totally dipped in bold pink floral designs, curated on a mint green base, and headlined by statement appliqués and bunches. She further teamed the lehenga with a matching printed dupatta, which came bordered with detailed roses.

For jewellery, Ananya added regular pair of oxidised chaandbaalis and a statement ring by jewellery designer–Sangeeta Boochra. To complement the ethnic look, Ananya curled her short hair and added a small red bindi to top it all off. While the actress loves to experiment with colourful eyes, she stayed away from full-face heavy makeup and chose to go minimal this time.
