‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ Promotions: Alia Bhatt’s Closet Is Taking Over The Colour White, One Saree At A Time
Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi and we’re busy obsessing over her lineup of all-white sarees. From florals to monochrome, there’s possibly nothing that our onscreen Gangu hasn’t sported. While some of her modern-day Gangubai looks in the past week, didn’t make it to our list of favourites, this black and white drape scores a ten on ten. The silk-satin crepe white club house saree, from the shelves of label Kshitij Jalori, weaves modernity into the signature silhouette. However, all of Alia Bhatt’s recent drapes have rooted for florals, we love the minimal aesthetic oozing out of this particular drape. Keeping the look edgy and feminine, Alia added a bunch of white roses to her neatly-braided hair, with black bindi and silver oxidised jhumkas by Abhilasha jewellery. Well, the Raazi actress is definitely not big on heavy makeup or dramatic liners, her lips always come painted with soft shades of beige, blush pink and truckloads of mascara. A great ensemble styled by celebrity stylist Ami Patel, we love the white detailing, running throughout her black blouse and the incorporation of silver statement jewels.
