A modern update to an ethnic bridal look, Alia’s quest to find Kareena Kapoor wala lehenga surely ends without having one, but this fuchsia pink lehenga was the new piece we were all obsessed of. The look incorporated statement earrings, a maang tika, bangles, black sunglasses and some Shah Rukh Khan swag for the win.

Alia Bhatt turned into a Kashmiri bride for her wedding nuptials in the film. Designed by costume designer Bhagyashree Dattatreya Rajurkar, the brocade sharara set took inspiration from the 70s era, adding a fresh colour combination of red and sea blue to our platter of options. As an ode to the era gone by and cultural sentiments of Kashmir, the look incorporated extreme gotta work, a passa, maang tika, a huge nose ring and some neck accessories.

Alia Bhatt was a beautiful bride in red, for her 2019 film– Kalank. In her traditional best, Alia’s character Roop in the film opted for an-all red lehenga, with a brocade long shirt blouse, and a sheer red veil. Making it to her heavy stack of accessories was an intricate matha patti, small nose ring, a rani haar, and kundan chaandbali earrings. Regal at its best.
