Speaking about the same, the actress, who starred in Aditya Dhar’s directorial Uri: The Surgical Strike, spoke about her life in front and behind the camera on Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist hosted by Siddhaarth Aalambayan. 1. Her URI Performance Almost Made Her Cry On Set

While recalling her experience working with Aditya Dhar, Riva mentioned that after the first take, when she did the emotional scene in Uri, she felt like crying because of the immense love she received from everyone. The actress revealed that everyone on the set was crying and clapping.

2. She’s Always Been Mature

When the subject of maturity came up, Riva mentioned that everyone keeps telling her that she has always been mature. She reasoned that she had seen almost all kinds of different things around her growing up, including being in the public eye, which is why she has always been mature while growing up!

3. She Has Always been A Topper

On the show, Riva also revealed that she was the topper in school and college. Further, the actress also stated that many of her peers used to question how she would manage to top the exam on top of not going to school regularly. She candidly expressed that she would cry after getting 1-2 marks less in the exam.

4. She’s Scared Of Injections

On the show, Riva dismissed the cosmetic procedure allegations, stating that her features have always been natural. She also revealed that she is scared of injections. Riva expressed that she would never get them done and she wouldn’t be allowed to do the same. The actress advised everyone to embrace who they are!

5. Her Take On Feminism

When the host asked her take on feminism, she stated, “Feminism for me is my mom.” Riva highlighted that she has shown her what lovely things one can do in life and how one can go through each phase so beautifully in life. She added that her mom is the role model for feminism and also praised the way she has taken a stand, done a lot of hard work, and managed to take care of her home.
