Who Is Siddharth Gupta, Krishnavataram Star Who Left Engineering To Pursue Acting!

Many films have been released in the last few weeks. Krishnavataram Part 1 was also one of them. The two lead stars received a lot of praise from both the critics and the audience. For the unversed, Siddharth Gupta played the role of Krishna in the film. The actor perfectly portrayed his role, but did you know he shifted his career from engineering to acting? Who Is Siddharth Gupta?

As per the news reports, Krishnavataram makers wanted to introduce new faces in the film. Siddharth Gupta played the lead role of Krishna in the film opposite Sanskruti Jayana. The film received immense praise from the audience, and the fresh faces got a lot of love. But did you know Siddharth Gupta was not always an actor?

Siddharth Gupta was born in Dehradun, and he moved to Dubai to pursue engineering. However, just like many of us, Siddharth too wanted to pursue his passion, which was to become an actor. In no time, he left engineering and moved to Mumbai to chase his dreams of becoming an established actor. The Krishnavataram star joined the theatre and worked on his craft.

Siddharth Gupta’s First Break

Siddharth landed his first major work in Ektaa Kapoor’s Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi. He played a lead role in this. Siddharth then went on to make his OTT debut in  ALTBalaji’s Ragini MMS: Returns. You also may know him from Dhwani Bhanushali’s music video ‘Vaaste.’ After the release of his film, the actor also penned an emotional note on social media to talk about his journey and the number of auditions he went through to make it big in the films. Siddharth also enjoys 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

More On Krishnavataram Part 1

Directed by Hardik Gujjar, the film also stars Sushmitha Bhat as Radha, Nivaashiyni Krishnan as Rukmini, and Sanskruti Jayana as Satyabhama. The film hit theatres on May 7.
