What To Watch This Week Of December 5 To December 11: ‘Salaam Venky’, ‘Blurr’, ‘Moving In With Malaika’, And More

What To Watch This Week From December 5 To December 11:

1. CAT – Netflix

This is an exciting revenge thriller drama series, starring Randeep Hooda. It comes from creator and showrunner Balwinder Singh Janjua. CAT is a story of an innocent man set against the backdrop of the Punjab hinterlands. He is thrown into a deep, drug trafficking conspiracy between gang lords, cops and political powers. 2. Moving In With Malaika – Disney+ Hotstar 

This is a new reality show on Disney+ Hotstar. It will help us see a special glimpse into Malaika Arora’s life. The show is set to give fans access to Malaika’s past, present, and future through unfiltered conversations and guest appearances from her friends and family. So are you ready to get up, close and personal with Malaika Arora? Stream this from December 5 onwards.

3. BLURR – Zee5

BLURR starring Taapsee Pannu and Gulshan Devaiah is a thriller directed by Ajay Bahl. The story revolves around Gayatri, who is slowly losing her ability to see. Yet she is on a mission, to find answers to her twin sister’s unlikely death. This is a race against time, a race to find answers before she starts to accept the darkness. 4. FAADU- A Love Story – Sony LIV 

This is a web series about a romantic love story and follows Abhay (Pavail Gulati), a raw and ambitious poet, on an ambitious journey of need and greed. He is trying to write his own fate while going through emotional turmoil. But falls in love with Manjiri (Saiyami Kher), she is a poetess who harbours a completely different philosophy in life than his. How will these two navigate their love with opposing views on life? Stream this on Sony LIV, from December 9 onwards.

5. Delivery By Christmas – Netflix

This is a cute Polish rom-com. The story begins with sabotage, where a spiteful coworker sabotages the delivery of Christmas presents’ couriers. But like a Christmas miracle, a helpful customer decides to save the day by delivering them. But this job isn’t going to be as easy as it sounds. To find out what happens, watch it on Netflix, from December 6 onwards.

6: The Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus – Netflix

Our favourite baby boss is here again on an adventure. The adventure begins when the Boss Baby accidentally swaps places with one of Santa’s elves and gets stranded at the North Pole in Santa Claus’ toy shop. Watch this fun and cute movie on Netflix, from December 6 onwards.

7. I Hate Christmas – Netflix

To add some laughs to your life we have this Italian comedy series. Gianna, a single nurse, who lies to her family about having a boyfriend, to shake off the tag of a spinster. Therefore, she begins a desperate search to find a partner by Christmas which is less than a month away. Will she succeed? Watch her story on Netflix, from December 7 onwards. 

8. Maarrich – Theatres 

This is a Hindi thriller movie produced by Tusshar Kapoor. It is also starring Natassha (Anita Hassanandani), Tusshar Kapoor, and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles. Its screenplay and direction were done by Dhruv Lather. This thriller movie is about a cop who is looking for a serial killer creating havoc in the city. Catch this in your nearest theatres, from December 9 onwards.

9. Salaam Venky – Theatres 

Kajol and Vishal Jethwa starrer Salaam Venky. This film is based on the life of Kolavennu Venkatesh and his mother Sujata. It’s the story of how they navigate through the most challenging situations in life with a smile. This amazing story is based on a true story. Learn life lessons from this amazing duo, This movie also reunites Kajol and Aamir Khan. Watch this emotional movie in theatres, from December 9 onwards.

10. Pippa – Theatres  

Pippa is an action-packed war drama. It brings to life the valour of our soldiers who fought the historic 1971 India-Pakistan war. Inspired by true events, where Pippa, Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, tells the story of three siblings who fought together in the 48-hour Battle of Garibpur, on the eastern front of India during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Watch this amazing story in theatres, from December 9 onwards.

11. Vadh – Theatres

The movie features Neena Gupta, Sanjay Mishra and Manav Vij as lead characters. It is a Bollywood crime drama. It’s about a retired middle school teacher and his wife who are living a mundane middle-class life in Gwalior. But things take a wild turn and the situation gets out of hand. Find out what happened and how will they save themselves, watch this in theatres, from December 9 onwards. 

12. Designing Christmas – Discovery+ 

This cute Christmas movie follows Stella, who has worked for the past six years with her co-host, Pablo, on a house renovation show. But when they decide to work together during the Christmas holidays, unexplored emotions come to the surface. Will it ruin everything or will it be the most amazing thing? Watch this on Discovery+, from December 8 onwards.

13. True Conviction S4 – Discovery+

True Conviction is here with another thrilling season. Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi, who is a decorated Brooklyn homicide prosecutor. She travels across the country to reveal how the nation’s top prosecutors tackled their toughest cases. This series explores how homicides are solved on the street and won in the courtroom. Watch this on Discovery+, from December 5 onwards. 

14. Decision To Leave – MUBI

It’s a twisted modern love story directed by Heojil Kyolshim. The story begins with a detective investigating a man’s death in the mountains. But he ends up developing feelings for the dead man’s mysterious wife in the course of his dogged sleuthing. Watch this interesting story on MUBI, from December 9 onwards.
