What To Watch This Holi Long Weekend: ‘Turning Red’, ‘Jalsa’, ‘Apharan 2’, ‘Salute’, ‘WeCrashed’ And More
Aaj toh meri khushi ka koi thikana hii nahi hai! Kyu? Because the long, Holi weekend is here! And I have my weekend plan set. After a fun Holi party, I’m going to have a much-needed relaxing bath, then curl up in my bed, and then unwind. And if you’re also planning to follow suit, then I have some good news. The news is that I have a list of all the good movies and series that you can watch over the weekend – in theatres or on OTT platforms. And since I’m such a generous and nice person (yes, I can be narcissistic at times, hehe), I’m going to share that list with you!

1. Turning Red
It is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, Turning Red is an animated film that is a witty metaphor for puberty. It is Pixar’s first film that is written, directed, and produced by women.
2. Bachchan Pandey
Bachchan Pandey is an action-packed, comedy film that stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi. It is set to have a theatrical release on March 18, 2022.
3. Jalsa
Packed with thrilling drama and suspense, Jalsa is an intense crime drama starring Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video from March 18.

4. Bloody Brothers
A thriller series directed by Shaad Ali is an adaptation of the Guilt, a Scottish mystery thriller. Bloody Brothers feature Jaideep Ahlawat, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Tina Desai, Shruti Seth, and other talented actors. It will stream on Zee5 from March 18, 2022.
5. Lalitham Sundaram
Lalitham Sundaram is a comedy-drama movie directed by Madhu Warrier and stars Many Warrier, Biju Menon, and Deepti Sati. It will be released on March 18 on Disney+ Hotstar.
6. Apharan S2
Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Jio studios, it is a web series that has a stellar cast of Arunoday Singh, Nidhi Singh, Snehil Dixit Mehra, Saanand Verma, and Sukhmani Sadana. Apharan season 2 will be released on Voot Select on March 18.
7. Eternally Confused and Eager for Love
Eternally Confused and Eager for Love is a Netflix original series made in association with Tiger Baby Films. The comedy-drama series features talented actors such as Rahul Bose, Vihaan Samat, Suchitra Pillai, Jim Sarbh, Ankur Rathee, and Dala among others. It will stream on Netflix from March 18, 2022.

8. Deep Water
A psychological thriller directed by Adrian Lyne has Ben Affleck, Ana de Armas, and Jacod Elordi as leads. Deep Water is scheduled to be released on March 18 on Hulu.
9. WeCrashed
Starring Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto, it is a drama series that is set to air on Apple TV+. WeCrashed directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra is set to release on March 18.
10. Last Night In Soho
Directed by Edgar Wright, the psychological horror film stars Anya Taylor Joy, Thomasin McKenzie, and Matt Smith. Last Night In Soho is currently streaming on BookMyShowStream.
11. Soil
Soil season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix. The comedy series features Yassine Ouaich, Ward Kerremans, Ahlaam Teghadouini.

Starring Noomi Rapace, Aliette Opheim, Dar Salim, and others, Black Crab is a movie directed by Adam Berg. You can watch it on Netflix.
14. Salute
Crime thriller directed by Rosshan Andrrews features Dulquer Salmaan and Diana Penty as leads. Currently streaming on SonyLIV in 5 different languages.
