From Vicky-Katrina To Alia-Ranbir, Check Out The Couples Rumoured To Tie The Knot This Wedding Season!

Is it just me or does shaadi season excite anyone else too? I honestly am least concerned with the romantic aspect of this time of the year but just look at it as my personal opportunity to dress up and enjoy the festivities hoping for a meet-cute with a guy from the opposite party. Yeah no, with a lot of experience I can assure you that won’t happen. But what we can look forward to are these celebrities who already had their supposed meet-cute and are *nudge-nudge* rumoured to be tying the knot this upcoming wedding season. From Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif to Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, here’s the hot tea about their speculated upcoming nuptials!

1. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal

Rumours about Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s engagement and wedding have been floating around for some time now. The alleged couple has been rumoured to be tying the knot at Six Senses Fort, Barwara which is in Sawai Madhopur and is located 30 minutes from Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan. Allegedly, their wedding will begin on December 1, and the celebration will go on till December 7. They are rumoured to wear Sabyasachi outfits for their wedding day. Amidst these rumours, Katrina’s mother and sister were seen shopping at an ethnic outfit store too so….

These two cuties, Rajkumar Rao and his long-term live-in girlfriend Patralekhaa, are all set to get married if reports by ETimes are to be believed. The date has already been set and will apparently happen in the second week of November. The happy couple has been together for 10 years now. The wedding is said to be intimate with just a close circle of family and friends invited. I am so excited for them!

Pavitra Rishta actor Ankita Lokhande and her beau Vicky Jain have reportedly planned their wedding for this December in a 3-day celebration for the joyous occasion. A source close to the couple told The Indian Express, “As of now, only very close people have been informed about the wedding. Following a few rituals and puja ceremonies, the invitation cards will be sent out. Given both of them are from the city, the wedding celebration will happen in Mumbai itself.”

4. Kal Penn

In his recent book “You Can’t Be Serious,” Kal Penn talked about his partner of 11 years, Josh (last name withheld) and their engagement. He told People in an interview, “Obviously I am engaged to a man and our families will be there for the wedding.” He also briefly spoke about his exploration of his sexuality as he said, “I discovered my own sexuality relatively late in life compared to many other people. There’s no timeline on this stuff. People figure their s— out at different times in their lives, so I’m glad I did when I did.”

5. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s relationship have been the talk of the town for a while now. After initial rumours and speculations about their wedding happening this year, there might now be a chance that the upcoming nuptials have been moved to 2022 as they were rumoured to get hitched in Italy. However, nothing has been confirmed by the couple or their families. Alia’s mother Soni Razdan stated in an earlier interview, “Even I don’t know when it’ll (the wedding) happen. Even I’m waiting for some information,” She adds, “Well, there’s a lot of time left. It’ll happen some time in the future, and that’s a long way off. Now, when it’ll happen, I don’t know. Maybe, you’ll have to call Alia’s agent for that, but even her agent might not know.”

Regardless of when or whether or not these couples get married, let’s hope they find happiness and peace within each other. After all, that’s what all of us want from a partner, don’t we?
