Witnessing an online feud between Varun Dhawan and an influencer was not on our 2026 bingo card. Recently, influencer Simran Bhat shared a reel online, claiming that she was approached to review his new film titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai teaser. She was asked to do so even after she revealed not having watched it yet. She accused him of faking the reviews on social media. In response, Varun shared a comment under her post that turned everyone’s heads!
Varun Dhawan Responds To Faking Reviews For New Film’s Teaser
Simran Bhat shared a reel online saying that she and her friend were approached by two people at the Rajiv Chowk metro station, asking them to review the Varun Dawan’s starrer, Hai Jawani To Ishq Hona Hai teaser. She revealed, telling them that she had not watched it. Simran further shared that the person said that it was okay and that they would tell her what to say. Simran then asked how it could be a review if they tell them what is to be said. The influencer added that the girl tried to reason that it’s because she hadn’t watched it yet. Simran responded with, “But if you want a genuine review, take it from those who have watched it.”
Simran shared that the girl insisted that they watch it. To this, the influencer stated that she was getting late and needed to be somewhere else. Then the girl reacted with, “Accha niklo niklo.” Simran wondered in the clip if Varun was going through a bad time that he had to fake reviews.

What Did He Say?
Varun Dhawan commented under the reel with, “Hope you get the views you really want with this video.” Soon, Simran Bhat responded by saying that with all due respect, she doesn’t need to do such things for views, adding that she is content with her numbers. Later, she shared his comment in her Instagram stories and wrote that she was already getting good views and she was satisfied with her numbers. Simran also penned that if she needed attention, she should have posted it on her feed; instead, she shared it as a trial reel, adding that the incident actually happened with them. Further, she asked Varun to check with his PR team because this is affecting his image.
However, the influencer did not stop here; she also shared a screenshot of another comment that the Student Of The Year star had seemingly shared and deleted. In that he wrote that she had convinced herself that the person had asked her to review the same because he sent them to her, adding,“All this for views.” She questioned why he deleted that comment.
Now, fans are waiting to see how Varun reacts to the same!
