Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor said that his daughter Raha has been closely involved in the making of his upcoming film Ramayana. He revealed that his three-year-old has come to the set many times and has even shot a few scenes with his co-star Sai Pallavi and Ravie Dubey in the mythological epic. Ranbir Kapoor About Raha Kapoor
During a chat with BBC, Ranbir Kapoor spoke about his daughter Raha’s interest in the story of Ramayana. He revealed how he and his wife Alia Bhatt had introduced her to the story and how she became familiar with the world after coming with him to the sets. He said that he was happy with how he was since this was his daughter’s first time watching the Ramayana. He further spoke about how Raha is very enthusiastic about the film’s progress and recalled her asking if he shot with Hanuman or Sita today.
After the chat, Kapoor described his daughter as the “diya” of his life and how the upcoming Diwali celebrations would be particularly special since Raha would be celebrating her fourth birthday this year. For the unversed, she was born on November 6. Ranbir Kapoor also said that Ramayana was his daughter’s first theatrical experience at its San Diego event. He said that he was looking forward to watching it with her in the cinemas too. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and stars Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.
