Actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay has been making headlines ever since his party TVK won the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026. Amid this, all eyes are on his rumoured girlfriend, Trisha Krishnan and on his wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam. Many have been criticising him for allegedly leaving his wife for the actress, but nothing has been confirmed as of now. And in recent events, a picture of Sangeetha, Vijay, and their son Jason James from the past has been going viral.

About Vijay, Sangeetha Sornalingam

Sangeetha Sornalingam recently announced wanting a divorce from her husband Vijay. And he is currently celebrating his win at the elections with his wife nowhere to be seen. Amid this, a picture of them with their son Jason Sanjay has gone viral online, with Sangeetha resting her head on Jason’s cheeks while Vijay is also doing the same with his son. Jason looked very cute in a red t-shirt while his mother was seen in a black outfit. This wholesome picture caught the attention of fans online, who reminisced about their good times.

If a report by the Sunday Guardian Live is to be believed, then Jason is also trying to make his mark in the entertainment industry with filmmaking and direction as his main thing. Unlike his father, he wants to do something different and is one of the most promising in the Tamil film industry. Reportedly, he does not want to be an actor. He also does not want to do stereotypical roles. Jason’s directorial debut will be Sigma featuring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. The film will reportedly release in 2026 and is made in Tamil and Telugu.
