After a successful theatrical run with Tu Yaa Main alongside Adarsh Gourav, Shanaya Kapoor is now set to make her OTT debut in JioHotstar’s Student Of The Year: After Dark. The web-show directed by Reema Maya is a mystery thriller, and well, nothing like the happy and cheerful films that were released in 2012 and 2019. Shanaya Kapoor is soon making her OTT debut with Student Of The Year: After Year. It’s a thriller directed by Reema Maya, and the series of events takes place in St. Teresa Heritage School. Shanaya Kapoor’s character visits the school to investigate her twin sister Ayesha’s death. There are various characters in the school, like a ‘perfect boyfriend ‘, a ‘jealous best friend ‘, ‘rejected lover ‘, and more who are probable suspects. The dark and gloomy visuals of the show look promising, and especially the lead character played by Shanaya Kapoor has got us seated. Also, it will be interesting to see how the film of the same that we remember as cheerful and romantic stories gets this mysterious twist. The BGM is also edgy.
