Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja’s Nurse And Her Husband Arrested For Stealing Rs. 2.4 Crore Cash, Jewellery

Sonam Kapoor has been in the news for multiple reasons. One of them is her recent pregnancy announcement and all the amazing maternity shoots and the fact that she and hubby Anand Ahuja’s residency was recently robbed Rs 1.41 crore worth of cash and jewellery. A new development has come up in this as news has come out that a nurse named Aparna Ruth Wilson who was caring for Sonam’s mother-in-law was involved in the robberies.

Sonam Kapoor’s Delhi home being robbed made headlines a few days ago. Updates have been uncovered showing that Sonam’s mother-in-law’s caregiver was responsible for the same. The robberies happened in Amrita Shergill Marg. The DCP Amruta Guguloth said that Aparna Ruth Wilson, who is a nurse and caregiver at Sonam Kapoor’s house enabled her to be close to the family from who she stole and gave the stolen goods to her husband. According to The Quint, DCP Guguloth further added, “Both have been formally arrested and police remand is being sought. Further investigation is in process”.

The nurse was hired to care for Sonam Kapoor’s mother-in-law and her husband works as an accountant at a private bank. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s house manager filed the complaint on February 23 after the robbery happened on February 11. The FIR was lodged nearly a week after the robbery took place. The FIR was lodged at Tughlak Road Police Station. A senior police officer said that Delhi Police Crime Branch conducted a raid in Sarita Vihar on Tuesday night alongside a team of Special Staff Branch of the New Delhi district. They were soon able to apprehend Wilson and her husband. However, the stolen cash and jewellery are yet to be recovered.
