Rinku Dhaka – brother of Sonali Phogat filed a complaint with Goa Police, alleging that the BJP leader’s personal assistant – Sudhir Sangwan, along with his friend Sukhwinder raped and murdered her. In his complaint, Dhaka stated that Sonali, who was an actor and politician, had spoken to her mother, sister and brother-in-law a few hours before her demise and during the conversation, Phogat had complained about her staff. He claimed that her PA added drugs to her meals and raped her. According to the report, he also mentioned that Sangwan had made a video and was threatening her to make the video viral on social media platforms.

Family members of Sonali Phogat are not satisfied with the postmortem because it was conducted in Goa. Her brother said that they will get the post-mortem done again in New Delhi. He also claimed that his sister was poisoned.
