Sonali Phogat’s Sisters Push For Further Probe Into Actress’ Death, Suspect Something Fishy
The family of BJP lawmaker from Haryana and TV actor Sonali Phogat has questioned the circumstances surrounding the 42-year-untimely old’s death in Goa, stating they suspect foul play. Additionally, they have urged that authorities look into the death saying that she had no medical condition and her death seems “fishy”.
On August 23, Sonali Phogat was brought dead to a hospital in Goa. According to many reports, the late actor had a heart attack. However, Sonali’s sister says that their mother had a conversation with the deceased actor the day before she passed away, during which the actor complained of “feeling uneasy after her dinner.”

Her sister said that Sonali called her the night before she passed away and requested a WhatsApp conversation saying that something “fishy” was going on. She added that Sonali had spoken to their mother and expressed bodily discomfort after a meal. Sonali’s elder sister, Raman, also asserted that she was physically fit and could not have had a heart attack. They have insisted on a thorough inquiry into her death. Raman added that Sonali’s death is something the family is not yet willing to face.

Sonali Phogat was a Haryana native who ran against Kuldeep Bishnoi in the most recent Assembly election from Haryana’s Adampur constituency. In 2020, she also made an appearance on the reality show Bigg Boss. Yashodhara, Sonali’s 15-year-old daughter, is Sonali’s only heir.

In a suspicious series of events, Sonali Phogat’s husband passed away in December 2006 and was found dead at a farmhouse under unusual circumstances, which added to the intrigue surrounding his passing. According to sources, Sanjay passed away at the age of 45, although the exact cause of his demise is yet unknown. When Sonali’s husband Sanjay passed away, she was in Mumbai.
