Tbh, we weren’t really short of songs to play at weddings, that the famous matchmaker Sima Taparia had to release one. From the Netflix series Indian Matchmaking, Sima Taparia rose to fame and became a household name in no time. Looks like, now she has decided to her try her luck in the profession of singing with her new song, ‘Shadi Ki Tayaree Hai’. The song lyrics have been penned by Neetu Saini and Jeetu Shankar has composed the music. Now, the internet has been comparing Sima Aunty’s singing skills to that of Dhinchaak Pooja, you can only imagine the torture here!

‘Shadi Ki Tayaree Hai’ was dropped on June 2, Friday and Sima Aunty is the lead vocalist. As suggested by the name, the song is all about big fat Indian weddings and also celebrates all the relationships through the lyrics. Sima Aunty is seen enjoying the song, with solo shots of her singing it. Her husband Anup Taparia is also a lead singer in this song alongside his wife. The visuals of ‘Shadi Ki Tayaree’ are bright, and fun with people just enjoying a wedding. Basically, a very normal string of events in any Indian shaadi!

However, everything aside, the song is honestly, torture. Sima Aunty should better not try doing any other songs, as it is not her best talent. The music and echoing vocals sound irritating to the ears. The lyrics are lazy and do not have any kind of rhythm or sync in them. In fact, there’s a line, “Kar le masti bas raja, hai bachelor aaj, phir toh hamesha sir pe hoga husband ka raj,” umm, does not that sound quite regressive too?
