“The Cat Is Out Of The Bag,” Writes Huma Qureshi Who Announces Shikhar Dhawan’s Bollywood Debut With ‘Double XL’!

But cameo appearances from people from other fraternities in films always make a loud noise on social media and excite the audiences. One such upcoming film that has left the audience counting the date until its release date is Double XL! And the reason behind the excitement is that cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is going to make his Bollywood debut with this slice-of-life comedy film! Huma Qureshi, who is one of the female leads of the film, revealed on October 11 that Shikhar is all set to enter Bollywood with this movie! Isn’t that such a pleasant surprise?

Huma announced this good news to the fans through her Instagram post. Taking to the photo-sharing platform, she shared a couple of pictures with Shikhar Dhawan from their time together on the set of Double XL as well. In the first picture, Huma Qureshi and Shikhar are seen dancing romantically. The 36-year-old actress is wearing a pink one-shoulder gown with a dainty necklace and earrings and her hair is styled in curls. Whereas Shikhar Dhawan is looking dapper wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a white bow tie.

The teaser of Double XL was dropped on September 22, and the 30-second video itself was the perfect response to all those who fat-shame women. Apart from Huma, the film also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal in prominent roles. The film is slated to release theatrically on November 4, 2022, and needless to say, we’re very excited about it!
