Indian Cinema is going places and the biggest proof are our Oscar wins. After making the country proud at the Academy Awards, Indian Cinema is all set to take the International Emmy Awards by storm. Yes, you read that right. The list of International Emmy Award 2023 nominations is here and our ultimate favourite stars Shefali Shah, Jim Sarbh and comedian Vir Das have received nominations!

Shefali Shah has been nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress category for her Netflix show Delhi Crime 2 and Jim Sarbh has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actor category for his SonyLIV show Rocket Boys. On the other hand, Vir Das has been nominated the second time for an International Emmy Award. Vir Das has been nominated for his Netflix Special, Vir Das: Landing for the Best Comedy category.

Shefali Shah Reacts To International Emmy Award Nomination

Sharing a screenshot of the nomination in an Instagram post, Shefali Shah wrote that she still cannot believe that she has been nominated for the International Emmy Award. She went on to add that this nomination is special for her as Delhi Crime 2 is her favourite show and she is extremely close to her character of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi.

Jim Sarbh Reacts To International Emmy Award Nomination

Jim Sarbh took to Instagram to share that he was have a few weird days and then everything came together which was a huge relief. Sharing that he was out playing basketball and then cycled home in the rain, took a shower and came out and found messages and calls about his International Emmy Award nomination for Rocket Boys. Revealing that he feels lucky to be nominated, the actor said that it’s an honour for him to be nominated along with other talents.

Vir Das Reacts To International Emmy Award Nomination

Reacting to his second Internation Emmy Award nomination, Vir Das expressed pride and said that he’s proud of everyone who worked on his comedy special and shared gratitude towards Netflix for letting him tell his story.
