Cricket is followed like a religion in this country and the Indian premiere League (IPL) has a humongous fan following not just here but all over the world. Of all the IPL cricket teams, Shah Rukh Khan is the owner of the Knight Riders franchise under which he owns teams namely Kolkata Knight Riders, Los Angeles Knight Riders, and the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. And now, Shah Rukh has added another team to this franchise. He is now the proud owner of the Knight Riders’ first women’s cricket team called the Trinbago Knight Riders! This news makes us so happy!

The Raees actor took to his Twitter to announce this good news to his fans. He retweeted the Trinbago Knight Riders’ tweet and also said that the team will play at the inaugural women’s Caribbean Premier League. The tweet read, “Say hello to the first ever Knight Riders Women’s Team TKR is all set to battle it out in the inaugural edition of the Women’s CPL, starting on 30th August! #TKRFamily, are you ready!”
