Satyaprem Ki Katha Trailer: Loverboy Kartik Aaryan Meets Dream Girl Kiara Advani. But All Not Well?

After getting the Hindi film industry out of a dull post-pandemic with their film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan are set to share the screen again for the upcoming romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha. The film is a Sameer Vidwans directorial and was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. Along with Kiara and Kartik, the cast of the film includes Supriya Pathak and Gajraj Rao as well. The trailer of Satyaprem Ki Katha was dropped on June 4, and check out more deets about it below.

The trailer gives a glimpse into Kartik Aaryan’s character a guy hailing from a Gujarati family and how he falls in love with Kiara Advani’s character. And right from the first meeting, Kartik decides their ship hashtag will be #SatyaPremKiKatha. He asks Kiara to break up with her ‘timepass’ boyfriend because he is serious about her.
The rest of the trailer is just the two of them getting lovey-dovey in the snowy hills and playing garba together. But then comes a moment when Kiara says something to him that likely breaks his heart and things go downhill from there.

The chemistry between Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan is cute! They suit each other well, too. I am most looking forward to Gajraj Rao and Supriya Pathak’s performance in this one because you cannot deny that they are great actors with perfect comic timing! It will interesting to see the events of this “satya prem kahani” unfold in a Gujarati setting. Because i was truly surprised when Kartik said a typical Gujarati saying.

I hope the movie does not stereotype Gujaratis again, and the climax justifies whatever crisis Kiara and Kartik are facing. It was a little disappointing to see how little was revealed about Kiara’s character in the trailer.
