After the ‘Chalo Sansad’ March in Delhi on July 20, some disturbing visuals surfaced on social media. The confrontation between the students and Delhi Police turned violent, and many young people were injured during the violent turn of events. Many celebrities have condemned this action and brutality, and now the Anupamaa actor Rupali Ganguly has also shared her views. What Did Rupali Ganguly Say?
The Anupamaa star took to her X handle to share her thoughts on the Chalo Sansad March. The actor opined that the people who take the law into their own hands and cause vandalism shouldn’t be called students, and it also lessens the impact on the real cause. Rupali Ganguly also supported the fact that the students deserved a fair system and accountability; however, she was also of the opinion that the government and authorities have taken measures to ensure justice. According to the actor’s note, the police have also arrested suspects and efforts are being made to make the system better.
Furthermore, the actor wrote that violence replaced the peaceful protests from the students and the concerns are being ignored. The actor condemned the influence of any politically motivated agenda is this protests, and showed solidarity with the students protesting against the NEET paper leak. Here’s the Tweet.
