The CJP-led ‘Chalo Sansad’ March turned violent, and the videos are gut-wrenching. Shabana Azmi also visited the protest site and was seen extending her on-ground support to the youth. However, many celebrities who were not physically present there shared videos and penned notes on social media to express anger over the visuals of alleged police brutality. Ratna Pathak Shah
The veteran actor shared a powerful video to condemn the treatment given to the students protesting for their future. She even apologised to the youth on behalf of her generation and questioned the government’s dismissal of having a dialogue with the students. She also spoke about the story of Eklavya and how she was never convinced about the moral of the story. She backed the students and extended support in their fight.
Seema Pahwa
The Bareilly Ki Barfi star also posted a video to express disgust and disbelief over the ongoing situation at Jantar Mantar. She questioned everyone’s silence and conscience for speaking up during the tough times for fear of losing work. Seema Pahwa urged everyone to speak up as it was the need of the hour. She strongly supported the cause that the students were fighting for.
Preity Zinta
Preity Zinta also addressed the ongoing students’ protest at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. She supported the fact that the youth’s voice should be heard and that they deserved accountability. However, the actor condemned the presence of anti-national elements who were using the students’ anger to establish a hate and divide narrative on social media. The actor showed trust in the government and the law, and hoped that there would be a dialogue between the two parties to address the issue.

Rajkummar Rao
The actor also spoke for the students and opined that every voice needs to be heard. The actor supported peace as one’s greatest strength and condemned violence of any sort.
