The moment Rhea Kapoor dropped the news that she is going to produce a movie starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon, fans went berserk! The film is titled The Crew and will see the three leading ladies sharing screen space for the first time. Diljit Dosanjh is taken on board the film as the male lead. On March 25, the special occasion of Rhea Kapoor’s mother, Sunita Kapoor’s birthday, the producer dropped the news that shooting for the film has commenced.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Rhea Kapoor shared a picture of the clapboard from the sets of The Crew, and wrote a sweet caption alongside it. She wrote is this real life and also added that day 1 of shooting for the film has commenced on her mother’s birthday with her grandmother’s blessings. A photo frame that had her grandmother’s picture adorned with flowers was also shared by Rhea.

Kriti Sanon also shared a picture of the clapboard, and it looks like the initial schedule of the film revolves around her story. In the caption of the post, Kriti wrote that she is too excited about these new beginnings. Furthermore, she added that the feeling of a new character and a new story will be memorable. She also added that she is missing her girl gang, Kareena and Tabu!

As per reports, the plot of The Crew revolves around the airline industry and how three leading ladies are working hard to achieve their dreams. But when things turn upside for them, the situation takes an unexpected turn. The film is a Rajesh Krishnan directorial who has previously helmed TVF Tripling and Lootcase.
