Bridgerton was such a rage amongst women across the globe ever since it premiered on Netflix. This Regency-era drama really made us all fall in love with the Duke aka Simon Basset and, of course, the Viscount aka Anthony Bridgerton. And while everyone is still raving about the Viscount, we just got some NSP (nain sukh prapti) after watching the Duke back on our screens. Recently, actor Regé-Jean Page revealed that the Russo wives had a major hand in him getting cast in the Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man. Yepp, the wives and Bridgerton are how The Gray Man happened. Are we glad or are we glad?
During his appearance on Tuesday night’s episode of The Tonight Show, Regé-Jean Page revealed that Bridgerton played a role in him getting a role in Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man. Speaking about it, the actor said that while the details of how it exactly happened are a little hazy as there are different versions of the story. Page shared that one version is that Joseph Russo’s wife watched Bridgerton and another one is where he watched it with his wife. He added that one version is that Anthony Russo was picking up his kids when he heard the mums talk about him and he realised that he needed to know who the actor is. “The common thread is essentially some powerful men had the women in their lives talk to them and we all who runs the world at this point,” said Regé-Jean Page.

Well, we love the fact that it wasn’t just Russo Brothers but the Russo wives who suggested Regé-Jean Page be cast in the film. They did bring the eye candy back on our screens and we cannot be more thankful. Also, we love how the actor credited women for running the world. We don’t know how true that is but at least we know the women who should be the casting directors for Russo Bros as long as we get to see the Duke on our screens every now and then.
