Raveena Tandon Recalls Getting Pinched, Eve-Teased In Public Transport After Troll Questions Her ‘Privilege’
The shifting back of the metro car shed to Aarey has stirred protests among Mumbaikars again. People are complaining about the damage this will cause to the forest cover. Amid all these voices of protest, actress Raveena Tandon has also expressed her dissent with the building of the car shed in Aarey. But in doing so, she slammed a Twitter user who asked her if she knows the struggles a middle-class man will have to face if the metro does not start functioning.
Raveena Tandon’s Reply To A Troll
A Twitter user called Raveena Tandon an ‘elitist’ and also went on to ask her if she knew the struggles of a common man. We often think that celebrities would not respond to such tweets but that is so not the case with Raveena Tandon. This tweet caught her attention and responded to it by writing that when she travelled in local trains and busses in her teenage years, she got pinched by creepy men and also got eve-teased. She also wrote that development is welcomed but we have to be responsible as well.

Another troll tagged her in a tweet and called her ‘shameless’ for opposing the metro car shed construction. She also responded to this tweet and wrote, “Uptil 1991,I travelled like this.And being a girl also got physically harassed by nameless trolls like you.Before I started working , saw success and earned my first car. Troll ji . Nagpur ke ho,hara bhara hai aap ka city.lucky.Don’t grudge anyone their success or earnings.”
