Ranveer Singh Says He Feels Proud About Deepika Padukone Being A Bigger Star, Earning More Than Him

The story of 83 brings back the era that scripted history to life, when India, the underdogs, lifted the cricket World Cup in 1983. In a recent interview, when he was asked about Deepika’s old comment about how Ranveer never felt insecure when she was earning more when they first started dating. The Padmavat actor said that he feels very proud when Deepika Padukone achieves in her career. “I feel good when people tell me that I allowed the other actor to shine. That’s just who I am. I can’t be any other way. I have always been this secure person. I feel very happy for my wife when she achieves. There’s nobody prouder than me,” Ranveer said in an interview.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone started seeing each other when they were shooting for their film Ram Leela. In an interview, Deepika had revealed that Ranveer was genuinely comfortable with her massive success when their relationship was at the initial stage. The Tamasha actress had further said that she married him because he respected the fact that she was the bigger star and earning more money than him.
