Ranbir Kapoor Applauds Deepika Padukone’s Growth As An Actor, Says She Was Already A ‘Veteran’ During Their ‘Tamasha’ Days

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have definitely given us too many on-screen memorable moments together. Whether it was Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani or the underrated movie Tamasha. The duo has always created a charm on-screen. Deepika and Ranbir have always shared a good friendship and have often seen applauding each other’s works. Ranbir Kapoor who is busy with his promotions and interview schedules for his upcoming movie Shamshera, took a moment to appreciate Deepika Padukone’s growth as an actor. He also had some really sweet words for Deepika Padukone’s acting skills.

In a recent interview, Ranbir Kapoor had a lot of appreciation for Deepika Padukone and also shared his experiences of working with her in their previous movies. The actor recounted his day while shooting Tamasha, especially the song ‘Agar tum saath ho’. Talking about it, Ranbir said that the scene was overpowered and won by Deepika only. Elaborating on the same, Ranbir said that Deepika brought very real emotions to the scene because of which the song felt so real and alive. As per the source, Ranbir also said that he really had a good time working with her, also because both of them had started their careers almost together. Ranbir further said that he witnessed Deepika’s growth as an actor during the shoot of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. The actor also opened up by saying that he considered Deepika a veteran by the time they shot Tamasha, as he found her acting skills so surprising and impressive, as per the source.
