Rakhi Sawant’s Husband Exposed For Domestic Violence By Alleged Ex-Wife. Is Rakhi Fooling Everyone?

I believe that while most celebrities are popular for their talents and achievements, a lot of them are famous for… no good reason? They just exist to stir drama and do publicity stunts for attention. Most of them don’t have any real skill set to remain relevant so they use different tactics to do so. And the most common way of doing this is by appearing on reality TV which allows them to make some money while coming back in the public eye. Having bashed these celebrities a lot, I have to admit that watching reality TV is my guilty pleasure. The drama, while unnecessary, is like a car crash you simply can’t look away from. Hence, I was shocked to hear the news that Rakhi Sawant and her husband (who are a part of Bigg Boss 15) might be conning people.

Recently, Rakhi Sawant’s husband Ritesh Singh was exposed for allegedly being married previously and not having finished his divorce with his first wife by Umar Riaz fans. A pic of him with his first wife whose name is Snigdha Priya (before Rakhi Sawant) and child have started circulating and people are questioning the integrity of Rakhi Sawant’s marriage. The couple got hitched in a hush-hush ceremony in 2019. According to reports, the first wife claims that Ritesh also lied about his educational qualifications and job. She was told that he works at an MNC in Belgium and manages a team in an international firm.

Apparently, Snigdha Priya married Ritesh in Bettiah in Bihar in 2014. She says that their son was born a year later. According to sources, they are from West Champaran, Bihar. Snigdha Priya has accused Rakhi Sawant’s husband of domestic violence and has said he beat her with a belt for 4 hours! She said that they were in Chennai where her in-laws had come and there was a problem. Ritesh seemingly locked her in a room and hit her with a belt for 4 hours after which she left him and returned to Bihar. They have since spoken due to their son. The ex-wife said that he had hit her previously too but they always made up. She also accused Ritesh of emotional manipulation and gaslighting. Her family had also followed the traditions in Bihar and gifted him 25 lakhs as dowry as he claimed to be an IIT alumnus.

The woman has said that Ritesh is not wealthy and comes from a middle-class background.  He is also very narrow-minded and misogynistic as he used to get angry at her for being too independent and wearing what she likes, WTF? She says that she would like to appear on Bigg Boss 15 and clear the air with him. Snigdha Priya has also claimed that Ritesh Singh is just after money and is with Rakhi Sawant for the same.

With these new revelations, who knows what’s true and what’s not? Rakhi Sawant does have a history of creating drama under the pretext of marriage. Now whether or not she is actually married to Ritesh and the resolution between him and Snigdha Priya will only be seen as the show progresses.
