Rakhi Sawant And Sherlyn Chopra’s Controversy Escalates As They Now File FIRs Against Each Other
Ever since Rakhi Sawant entered the entertainment industry, she has stirred up several controversies. Her quirky commentary on a lot of topics of conversation is also quite entertaining. But when recently she came out in support of the #MeToo accused director Sajid Khan who is currently a contestant in Bigg Boss 16, we thought she’s gone too far. Not just this, she also created a buzz on social media by mocking Sherlyn Chopra who has accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment. This issue escalated to a war of words between the two and now, in what comes as a recent development, in this case, Rakhi and Sherlyn have filed FIRs against each other.

As per reports, both these actresses have filed FIRs against each other for using objectionable language for each other in public. The Mumbai Police said that Sherlyn Chopra came with a complaint against Rakhi Sawant and her lawyer, Falguni Brahmbhatt, and an FIR was filed against the two. Chopra said that Rakhi and her lawyer used ‘objectionable language’ while talking about her and also showed an ‘objectionable video’ of her during a press conference.
In return, Rakhi also filed a complaint against Sherlyn saying that the latter also made some indecent remarks against her on her YouTube video. She also said that Sherlyn used abusive language while talking about her. A case has been registered under sections 500, 504, 506 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

In a recent tweet amid her controversy with Rakhi Sawant, Sherlyn Chopra shared a video of her talking to the reporters where she lashed out at the former and said that she has nothing to hide. She also said that Rakhi should instead go and expose Raj Kundra and Sajid Khan.

It is sad that two women are pitting against each other while dealing with a sexual harassment issue. It is in times like these when women need to stand in solidarity with each other, they are calling each other vile names. Tearing women down is not cool, y’ll. Not cool.
