Is Priyanka Chopra A Better Choice To Play Captain Marvel Over Deepika Padukone? The Russo Brothers Seem To Believe She Is!
No one is as proud of Priyanka Chopra as us desis for gaining popularity in Hollywood and representing us so beautifully. And clearly, no one is a bigger fan of Priyanka within Hollywood than the Russo Brothers who have been working with her for their upcoming project, Citadel. In a recent interview, when asked if they would cast Deepika Padukone or PeeCee as Captain Marvel, they instantly picked Priyanka and we cannot unsee it now!
Priyanka Chopra is a friend of the Russo Brothers, and they wouldn’t prefer Deepika Padukone over her. The Citadel web series is being produced by the directorial duo. When given the option to select between Deepika and Priyanka for the role of a new Captain Marvel, they had no hesitations.
A video from the most recent press conference for The Gray Man, directed by The Russo Brothers, in Mumbai, featuring Dhanush, was posted on one of Priyanka’s fan account. When asked to choose between Priyanka and Deepika Padukone to play the role of the next Captain Marvel, they answered candidly that they must choose Priyanka. They added that they are huge fans of hers and share a great friendship. They then mentioned that they are working with her on Citadel which is a show the Russo Brothers are producing.

In one of their provious interviews, The Russo Brothers have consistently lauded Priyanka. Joe Russo said that Priyanka is an incredible star. He had said that a table read was held and it was excellent. Captain Marvel’s mid-credits scene, in which the title character meets the Avengers, was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. In the 2019 movie, Brie Larson portrays Captain Marvel.

A few weeks ago, Priyanka wrapped up filming Citadel. Hollywood movies Ending Things and It’s All Coming Back are Priyanka’s upcoming projects. She will also appear in the Farhan Akhtar-directed film Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
