10 years ago, we lost a dear actor, Pratyusha Banerjee. She made a special place in everyone’s hearts with her performance as Anandi in Balika Vadhu. The actor died by su*cide, and this unfortunate turn of events left all of us heartbroken. Rahul Raj Singh Granted Anticipatory Bail By Bombay HC
As per the latest updates in the Pratyusha Banerjee death case, her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been granted relief by the Bombay HC. He was charged with abetment of suicide. After the sudden death of the actor by su*cide, her parents accused Rahul Raj Singh of harassment, physical and emotional abuse. An FIR for assault and abetment of su*cide was registered against him.
The matter was taken up by the Dindoshi Sessions Court, which dismissed Raj’s bail plea, and after considering the various layers of the case, it directed the accused to go for trial. This decision was challenged by Rahul Raj Singh in the High Court. According to the news reports, the Bombay High Court bench of Justice Shivkumar Dige has granted anticipatory bail to Rahul Raj Singh based on the last conversation he had with Pratyusha Banerjee. As per an India Today report, in the last conversation, Pratyusha was heard saying to Rahul that she was talking to him for the last time. The latter was reportedly heard trying to convince her not to do anything like that, and also said that he would turn his car around and come meet her.
