Navya Nanda Reveals Amitabh Bachchan Doesn’t Like Short-Haired Women In Family. Wait, What?

In our Indian culture, long hair has always been a significant sign of beauty. Well, with changing times, this is no longer the case and it is all about a woman’s choice. However, actor Amitabh Bachchan is not fond of women who flaunt short hair, especially the women in his family. The revelation was made by his granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda on her show What The Hell Navya. Her mother Shweta Bachchan also recalled an incident when she accidentally cut her hair short and how his father had reacted.

In the latest episode of What The Hell Navya, the three generations of the Bachchan family discussed an incident from Shweta Bachchan’s childhood when she had a big fight with her brother Abhishek Bachchan. The conversation started after Navya Nanda reminded her mom about the time when Mamu Abhishek Bachchan had cut her hair short during a fight. Shweta Bachchan agreed to it while Jaya Bachchan laughed out loud. She also added that Abhishek did not cut the hair properly. Shweta further recalled what led Abhishek to chop off a bulk of her hair. She said that her brother cut the hair during an argument while their parents were not home. Shweta also revealed how she struggled to tie her hair because it was so cut. She also added that Jaya Bachchan would somehow manage to pin her hair and make braids to make it look presentable. During the conversation, Navya Nanda also revealed that his grandfather did not approve of women with short hair in his family.

Well, this revelation about Amitabh Bachchan smells a little regressive, doesn’t it? It’s ultimately a woman’s choice whether to keep her short long or short, and to impose one’s choice on the female members of the family is unreasonable!
