It’s official! Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar are finally married and these images have our hearts. Tying the knot according to Malayali wedding rituals, Mouni Roy is a vision in white kasavu saree and gold jewellery, with her groom dressed in a mundu and dull gold kurta in these wedding pictures. The couple said, ‘I do’ in presence of close family members and friends at Goa’s Hilton resort, and the two have finally shared the official pictures on their social media handles. Mouni dropped some lovely images from the ceremony with a heartfelt message that read as, “I found him at last ..Hand in hand, blessed by family & friends, We’re married!!!!!!!!!!! Need your love and blessings… 27.01.22. The intimate ceremony was attended by the couple’s family members and close friends, including Arjun Bijlani, Mandira Bedi, Manmeet Singh from Meet Bros musical duo, Aashka Goradia, Rohini Iyer, choreographers Rahul Shetty and Pratik Uttekar amongst others. Bride Mouni Roy had a grand entry to the mandap with her bridesmaids Mandira Bedi, Aashka Goradia, Vanessa Walia, Anuradha Khurana, dressed in traditional white kasavu sarees. Soon after the ceremony celebrity guests at the wedding shared congratulatory messages for ‘Mr. And Mrs. Nambiar,’ over their social media handle with a glimpse of the beautiful white set-up of the wedding. According to reports, Mouni and Suraj will also exchange nuptial vows as per Bengali traditions in the evening today at Goa’s Hilton Resort. While they were planning to host a grand wedding reception for their friends in Mumbai post the wedding, they have reportedly cancelled the idea in wake of a rise in COVID 19 cases.
