Mouni Roy Looks Gorgeous In Payal Singhal Sharara Set At Her Haldi And Mehendi, Gets Beau Suraj Nambiar’s Initials Written On Hand
Actress Mouni Roy’s wedding festivities have already begun and the pictures are just so aww-dorable. All set to tie the knot with beau Suraj Nambiar today, the actress celebrated her mehendi and haldi ceremony in Goa. Looking lovely in a sunny yellow ensemble, Mouni Roy danced her heart out alongside friends and family including, Mandira Bedi, Arjun Bijlani, Vanessa Walia, Rohini Iyer, Aashka Goradia, Pragya Kapoor, amongst others. Spotted wearing a beautiful Payal Singhal outfit for her mehendi ceremony, the ensemble, featured the designer’s signature tie-back PS Adah choli and sharara. Embellished with intricate mirror work and ivory and gold tassels, the actress styled the look with statement maang tika and earrings. Keeping her look quite simple and neat, she opted for dewy makeup and a hint of pink on the lips, with hair styled into loose curls. What we loved about the two-piece set was the addition of multiple tassels stitched to the hemline of the choli with an extended detail around her waist. A great option for day events, the sharara set allowed our beautiful dulhan some great legroom for on the spot dance performances and mehendi too. She also got “SN” which stands for Suraj Nambiar written on at the back of her hand, with mehendi.

Matching his beautiful bride in yellow, groom Suraj Nambiar opted for a white kurta set and added a printed bandhgala jacket to complete the look. And I must say they looked so cute together. Going all white for the haldi ceremony, which indeed is Mouni Roy’s favourite shade, the beautiful white lehenga seemed the perfect fit. Featuring a peplum short kurta, sheer dupatta and white lehenga replete with white embroidery and a gold border, Mouni Roy styled the set with white floral jewellery, consisting of maang tika, haath phool and temple earrings with hair chain. Resorting to minimal makeup, Mouni opted for her signature eye look, featuring a simple winged eyeliner and loads lip and cheek tint for a dewy, natural look. Co-ordinating his dulhan, Suraj Nambiar opted for a breezy and simple kurta-pyjama in the shade white for the ceremony. Enjoying the lovely flower shower, the function took place in the evening at the Hilton Resort, Candolim Goa.

While the actress has remained tight-lipped about her relationship with him, it was the first-ever time, last night that she shared an image with her soon-to be-husband. Captioning the happy picture as, “Everything. Hari Om,” the post came in as a surprise to her fans and received love from celebrities Mandira Bedi, Mrunal Thakur, Disha Parmar in the comments section. As per reports, Mouni and Suraj will have two wedding rituals– first, as per Malayali traditions in the morning, followed by a Bengali wedding.
