Who is Mehwish Hayat?
Mehwish Hayat was born in Karachi and her birthday falls on January 6. Rukhsar Hayat, her mother, too, was a popular television actress of the 80s. Mehwish is not just known for her acting prowess, but her singing skills have also earned her much appreciation and praise. She has three siblings – Zeeshan, Afsheen and Danish, all of them are artists.

Talking about the projects she has worked on, she is popularly known for her roles in Actor in Law, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Load Wedding and Chhalawa. These are some of the highest-grossing films in Pakistan. Some of her other well-known projects are Meray Qatil Meray Dildar, Phir Chand Pe Dastak, Mirat-ul-Uroos and Ishq Mein Teray. She also featured on Coke Studio in season 9 with Pakistani singer Shiraz Uppal. Mehwish Hayat also is the recipient of the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, one of the honorary awards by the Pakistani government.
Coming back to Ms Marvel, her chemistry with Fawad Khan is lauded by the fans. They have been deemed as one of the ‘power couples’ of the show. She and Fawad are Kamala’s great-grandparents in the series and fans are shipping them together because of how well they complement one another.
