Honestly, I am someone who really does not like surprises or the long wait before my best friend has something exciting to say. No, I am clearly not a person like that and well, that’s because I am impatient, but whatever. Even when celebrities make those happy but cryptic posts that give a sense of something big that they are going to announce makes me restless. And I guess, it makes most of us feel that way. Now, Malaika Arora has made a similar post on her social media account with absolutely no clear indication of what she said “Yes” to. And her comment section is flooded with speculations. So, I believe then many don’t like surprises!

On November 10, Thursday, Malaika Arora posted a picture of herself with the brightest smile on her face, and a little bit of a shy expression. What caught everybody’s attention was her caption in which she wrote, “I said yes” followed by some heart emojis. Now, obviously, the first thing that comes to mind is the fact that Arjun Kapoor, who Malaika have been dating for a while now, might have proposed to her. And well, many people in the comment section have speculated the same thing. But, where is the ring?? I mean, that’s the basic right, a symbol to “yes”, but there is no ring on Malaika’s finger in the picture.

But, then again, under the post, actor Pulkit Samrat has in a very excited and happy way congratulated Malaika. Why, well, nobody really has clue about that. Even other industry actors like Shamita Shetty, Karan Tacker, and Mahhi Vij congratulated Malaika. Well, some users also pointed out this post to be just a gimmick. Like Sonakshi Sinha, who had made a similar post in the past only to let us know later that it was about nails, and her new venture.

It is very unlikely to be an engagement announcement and more of a promotional thing, however, that can only be known to us when Malaika Arora decides to make it clear with a proper announcement.
