Madhubala’s Biopic Finally Set In Motion, To Be Backed By Her Youngest Sister Madhur Brij Bhushan
Madhubala was considered one of the top actresses of that time and her untimely demise left her fans and the industry in shock. I honestly haven’t watched many of her films except Mughal-e-Azam and I am so glad I did watch this one because I was in awe of her performance. Unfortunately, having been born in an era when I could not see more of Madhubala’s works, I was hoping a biopic would be made on her life so that several others like me could know more about her. And now, that wish is going to be granted! Yes, a biopic on this legendary actress is going to be made soon.
Madhubala’s Biopic To Be Made Soon
According to an exclusive Pinkvilla, the biopic is going to be a feature film which is going to be backed by Madhubala’s youngest sister, Madhur Brij Bhushan. The project will be produced by Madhubala Ventures Private Limited and Brewing Thoughts Private Limited (who are producing the Shaktimaan trilogy). A source close to the developments of this project has said the film is set to go on floors next year.

After this news, there is a lot of buzz about what parts of Madhubala’s life will be showcased in the biopic. But the source said this is a very early stage to talk about what the film will talk about. They also added that these details will be revealed once the director, studio and writer are zeroed in on. Madhur Brij Bhushan also has revealed that it has been her ‘long standing’ dream to do something for her sister who lived a life that was short but at the same time it was ‘momentous’.
