Legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar Admitted In ICU After Testing Positive For COVID-19. We Hope She Gets Well Soon!

Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began, we’ve all been living in the fear of getting infected. My biggest nightmare recently became reality after I tested positive for the virus and had to spend a few days in a hospital. And I’m not the only one to have lived through this scary reality. During this third way, the Omicron variant of the virus seems to have attacked several celebs ever since it came into existence. Ekta Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Mithila Palkar, ​Madhur Bhandarkar and several other celebs have tested positive for Covid-19 in the first 10 days of 2022. And now another name has been added to this list of celebs who contracted coronavirus. The legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to reports, Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai after she tested positive for the virus. The 92-year-old singer is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. Media reports further reveal that the singer, who is also known as the nightingale of India, has been experiencing mild symptoms but she has other underlying health conditions and considering her age, the doctors are closely monitoring her health.

Earlier in 2019, the legendary singer was hospitalised for 28 days after being diagnosed with pneumonia. In an Instagram post, Lata Mangeshkar has informed her fans that her doctors had urged her to extend her stay in the hospital till she healed completely. Expressing her gratitude for all her fans and well-wishers, the singer said, “Your prayers and good wishes have worked and I humbly bow down to each one of you.” She also thanked her doctors for being her ‘guardian angels’ and the nursing staff for their ‘exceptional’ care.
