‘Kumkum Bhagya’ Fans Are Upset With Ekta Kapoor Over Sriti Jha And Shabir Ahluwalia’s Absence On The Show
Kumkum Bhagya has been going on for as long as I can remember. And one of the reasons why the show has been going for so long is because of the leads – Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia. And trust me, I’m not sitting on the newer actors on the show, but can you really beat the chemistry of Sriti and Shabir? I really don’t think so. I mean, why else would fans of the show express their agitation towards Ekta Kapoor for not giving the actors more screen time? Yep, fans of Kumkum Bhagya have taken to social media to express their agitation about the absence of Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia on the show and even called out Ekta Kapoor for it.

In Kumkum Bhagya, Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia’s characters – Pragya and Abhishek Mehra – have been shown to have met with an accident, thus making them slip into a coma. This means that both of them hardly have any screen time on the show; making the fans of ‘AbhiGya’ very agitated.
In fact, the fans of Kumkum Bhagya have expressed their unhappiness with the decision in some outrageous tweets that are directed to the channel and producer of the show, Ekta Kapoor. The fans of the show are of the opinion that the characters of Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia deserve a happy ending.

In fact, reports suggest that one of the sources related to Kumkum Bhagya said, “Shabir and Sriti have been the pillars of the show for seven years now. But it won’t be surprising if their tracks are not revived and they bid adieu to the show because they have played their characters to the maximum and now the newer actors need to take over. However, it is uncertain if their track is over or they will be brought back some time later.”
Ngl, I have watched the show in bits and pieces and if asked to me, I understand the outrage but I also think that if the actors aren’t adding anything new to the storyline then maybe letting them go is not such a bad idea. However, I agree with the fans who say that both the characters do deserve a happy ending – especially after all the things they’ve gone through.
