Karanvir Bohra Among 6 Accused Of Duping Woman Of ₹ 1.99 Crores

Karanvir Bohra is a well-known television personality who has worked in the entertainment world for over a decade. The actor has been embroiled in a serious issue after being accused of duping a woman. A case has been filed in Oshiwara police station against him and five other persons for allegedly defrauding a 40-year-old woman of ₹ 1.99 crores after guaranteeing her a return at 2.5% interest.
A series of Tweets by ANI revealed that actor Karanvir Bohra is among the 6 people who have been accused of deceiving a 40-year-old woman. A case was filed against six people, including actor Manoj Bohra aka Karanvir Bohra, for allegedly tricking a 40-year-old lady of ₹ 1.99 crores after promising to repay it with 2.5% interest.

The woman claimed that only an amount more than ₹ 1 crore was repaid. The woman further alleged that when she asked for the cash, Bohra and his wife Tajinder Sidhu did not properly answer and threatened to shoot her. Police have begun an inquiry and will soon take their statements.

Previously, the actor and his wife made headlines when they entered their twin daughters into a Canadian school. The television celebrity later stated that it was one of the couple’s most difficult decisions as parents.
The actor was most recently featured on Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp. During his time on the show, the Qubool Hai actor stated that he was in debt and would consider suicide if he didn’t have a family. Karanvir Bohra then informed his fellow Lock Upp participants that he was facing financial difficulty and that had pending lawsuits against him because of non-payment of dues. He also claimed that anyone else in the same situation as him would have committed suicide.
