Kangana Ranaut Wants To Sue Filmfare For Offering Her An Award. We Wonder What Case She’s Going To File!
The other day I was wondering how we haven’t heard from our controversy queen Kangana Ranaut in a while. I thought maybe she decided to take a break from randomly inserting herself into drama and focus on her upcoming movie, Emergency. However, I was clearly wrong as she has just decided to start a new drama rather than inserting herself into anything. Kangana posted a story on Instagram about how she plans to sue Filmfare and the reason will leave you puzzled, to say the least.
After being invited to the Filmfare magazine’s awards ceremony, Kangana Ranaut has now chosen to sue Filmfare for giving her an award. The magazine even wanted to give her an award for her movie Thalaivii. If you are wondering why would one sue for receiving an award my answer is, because she is Kangana and because she can. She shared an Instagram story detailing her decision and this is what she wrote: “I’ve banned unethical, corrupt and totally unfair practices like @filmfare since 2014, but since I have been getting many calls from them for attending their award function this year as they want to give me an award for Thalaivii… I am shocked to know that they are still nominating me. It is beneath my dignity, work ethics and value system to encourage such corrupt practices in any way, that is why I have decided to sue @filmfare … thanks”

Kangana is up for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Filmfare Awards this year, competing against Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon, Parineeti Chopra, Taapsee Pannu, and Vidya Balan for the role of Thalaivii. Kangana has previously demanded a boycott of awards ceremonies. She had previously done the same for the Oscars and Emmys when they failed to honour the late Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar with an In Memorium tribute. Kangana Ranaut is preoccupied with the filming of her eagerly anticipated movie Emergency, in which she will play Indira Gandhi.
