With shaadi season, love is definitely in the air! On Thursday, Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad, a prominent member of the Samajwadi Party, announced their wedding. The actress revealed that she tied the knot with her beau in a court marriage in an Instagram post with a beautiful video montage of their special moments together. The couple also got engaged in a traditional ceremony and the actress told the media that the wedding is set to take place in March. Social media was abuzz with warm wishes for the couple! And Friday saw much warmth and love in the air as Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter to congratulate Swara and Fahad on their upcoming nuptials.
Sharing her court marriage pictures, Swara Bhasker hailed the Special Marriage Act that allows interfaith couples to tie the knot without any hassles. Replying to the tweet, Bollywood’s most outspoken actress, Kangana Ranaut chimed in to congratulate her Tanu Weds Manu co-star on her big day. Pointing out that both Swara and Fahad look “happy and blessed”, Kangana said that it is God’s grace while adding that marriages are created in the hearts of people and all other things are nothing but formalities. And fans were pleasantly surprised by her kind words, with one even noting that it was the first positive tweet they had seen from the actress.

Earlier, Swara Bhasker had shared pictures from the court marriage where she was seen dressed in a red saree paired with an ivory blouse. Fahad Ahmad opted for a matching red Nehru jacked with white kurta pajama for a colour coordinated look with his bride. The lovebirds exchanged garlands during their court marriage and later exchanged rings in an engagement ceremony.

All We Know About Swara Bhasker And Kangana Ranaut’s Feud
Swara Bhasker and Kangana Ranaut’s alleged feud had made headlines several times over the last few year. The two actors worked together in two movies – Tanu Weds Manu in 2011 and Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015 and had great on-screen chemistry.
However, in 2020, their relationship took a turn for the worse when Kangana Ranaut called Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu “B-grade actresses” in a tweet. Swara, being her witty self, sarcastically responded by calling Kangana’s tweet a “compliment. Kangana had also claimed in a 2021 interview that Swara and Taapsee were trying to impress Karan Johar by denying the existence of nepotism in Bollywood, but despite their efforts, they still haven’t got any work.

In a 2022 interview with Mashable India, the feud between Swara and Kangana was recalled by Swara, who said that they both also had a conversation about it. Swara stated that Kangana expressed her point of view, and she expressed hers as well. It was deemed to be fine and good.
