Kangana Ranaut Calls Out Video Of Little Girl Imitating Gangubai Kathiawadi Scene. “Should A Child Imitate A Sex Worker With Beedi In Her Mouth?”
As soon as the trailer of Gangubai Kathiawadi featuring Alia Bhatt dropped, everyone started praising Alia and Ajay Devgn’s powerful avatar and exceptional acting. But it also received a lot of backlash for Alia Bhatt’s racist dialogue and Vijay Raaz portraying a trans character. But this time, the ‘Panga Queen’ Kangana Ranaut is after them and that’s not a good sign at all. As we all know Kangana Ranaut is not afraid of voicing her opinions or concerns and this leads to many controversies but it doesn’t bother her. Recently, the Thalaivi actress called out a video featuring a little girl who is imitating Alia Bhatt’s character from the film who works as a sex worker.

Kangana Ranaut who does not miss any chance to drag Bollywood celebrities took a dig at the ongoing promotion of Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi. She expressed her anger on a video that features a little girl impersonating the character of Gangubai. She appealed to the Government and Smriti Irani who is the Minister of Women and Child Development to take strict actions against parents who are sexualising their children for money. The Queen actress posted a tweet on her social media account and wrote, “Government should take action against all the parents who are sexualizing underage children for money to promote biopic of a famous prostitute and pimp who supplied girls to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and rose to power…request @SMRITIIRANIOFFICIALJI Minister of Women and Child development, please look into it.”

She further added the video clip and asked if it’s appropriate for a child to imitate a sex worker. “Should this child imitate a sex worker with a beedi in her mouth and mouth crude and obscene dialogues? Look at her body language, is it okay to sexualize her at this age ? There are hundreds of other children who are being used similarly @SMRITIIRANIOFFICIAL,” she wrote.

Talking about the film, Gangubai Kathiawadi is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In the film, Alia Bhatt is playing the role of a madam of a brothel in Kamathipura, the famous red light area in Mumbai. The film also features Ajay Devgn, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa in important roles. Gangubai Kathiawadi is slated to release in theatres on February 25, 2022.
