Actor and politician Kangana Ranaut’s film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata has completed its first weekend at the box office. With a slow start, the film saw some growth over Saturday and Sunday, yet remained behind the others in a crowded weekend slate. An early estimation by Sacnilk revealed that the collection of Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata had a hike of 24.1 per cent higher than the day 2 earnings of Rs 1.45 crores. This brings the film’s expected three-day India nett total to Rs 4.25 crore, while its India gross collection is about Rs 5.09 crore. The Day 3 collection was 24.1 per cent greater than the Day 2 revenues of Rs 1.45 crore, and it also increased from the opening-day amount of Rs 1 crore. Despite the weekend surge, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata was unable to keep up with the other major releases. Vikram Bhatt’s horror movie Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past was the clear box-office winner during the same three-day period. Haunted 3D grossed an estimated Rs 11.03 crore in India and earned a net of Rs 9.35 crore from 10,807 shows, topping Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata and becoming the best-performing new release.

Based on the events surrounding the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the film focuses on the courage, compassion, and perseverance demonstrated by healthcare personnel during one of the country’s darkest nights. The film, directed by Manoj Tapadia, also stars Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Aghase, Aditya Mishra, and Zahid Khan in prominent parts.
