Sasaeng Fan Crosses All Limits, Records IVE’s Wonyoung From Creepy Angle
As per reports, the incident took place during IVE’s recent schedule in China. A sasaeng fan followed Wonyoung’s private vehicle and pressed a camera directly against the window. The fan tried to capture what the K-pop idol was doing on her phone. Wonyoung noticed the intrusion quickly. She turned on her phone’s front camera and recorded the person filming her. Many fans believe this was her way of warning the stalker and protecting herself.
@STARSHIPent do something about this. Rei, Wonyoung, & Yujin were stalked in Shanghai. Liz was disrespected during the fanmeeting. These so-called fans do not understand boundaries as they took photos of Wonyoung’s contact list and KAOKAO pfp. pic.twitter.com/iWCGtaV35w

Other videos shared by fans showed multiple cars chasing Wonyoung’s vehicle throughout the trip in China. The obsessive behavior continued for a long time and made the situation even more serious. These events have left many people worried about the safety of Wonyoung.
The repeated stalking has raised new concerns among fans. They are now calling on Starship Entertainment to provide stronger security for the group. Many believe companies should do more to protect their artists from such dangerous fans. Sasaeng behavior puts idols under constant stress and fear.

This kind of invasion is alarming. Idols are human beings who need personal space and peace, even inside a car. They are not objects for fans to chase or film without permission. Experts often say that sasaeng culture harms both the mental health of idols and the image of K-pop itself.
