The ones born after the 1950s got to see a very different kind of cinema in terms of the stories that were brought on screen. This generation never got to see how the Hindi film industry functioned in the 40s and 50s. The dynamic between the actors was different, and because society was more conservative, actors and actresses had to be extremely careful of their image. Giving us a glimpse into the golden period of cinema is the upcoming series Jubilee which is created by Vikramaditya Motwane. The ensemble cast of the series includes Aditi Rao Hyadri, Aparshakti Khurrana, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ram Kapoor and others. Aparshakti Khurrana is going portray the most eccentric role of his career so far in this series. His dilemma of obeying his boss’ orders but knowing what he is asked to do is wrong is quite evident even in the trailer. Aditi Rao Hyadri looks etheral as the role of Prosenjit Chatterjee’s wife. She knows what he husband has done is wrong and wants to make it right by exposing him.
