Did Johnny Depp Take A Dig At Amber Heard In A Song On His New Album With Jeff Beck?

Last month was historic in a way – according to me. Why? Well, because finally, the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation case came to a conclusion. However, the drama around it doesn’t seem to stop. I mean, as per the rumours Amber Heard has been calling for the jury’s verdict to be dismissed on the grounds of a mistrial. Now, while she has been vocal about the trial and expressed her unhappiness in several interviews, Johnny Depp has been more reserved about it. However, it seems as though the new album that the actor-singer released has a song wherein he takes a dig at his ex-wife as well as a song that addresses the defamation case trial.

Johnny Depp recently released his new album in collaboration with Jeff Beck and that was reviewed by The Sunday Times. As per the review, there seems to be a track on the album that seemingly has lyrics that appear to be about his ex-wife Amber Heard.

The track written by Johnny Depp, titled ‘Sad M***********n, has lines that seem to hint at Amber Heard. The lines include, “You’re sitting there like a dog with a seven-year itch. If I had a dime, it wouldn’t reach your hand.”

As per reports, the new album consists of two original songs that are written by Johnny Depp himself and recorded over the past three years. The other 13 songs include covers of tracks by Motown artists along with Beach Boys, John Lennon, Velvet Underground, and Killing Joke.  The actor has joined guitarist Jeff Beck for his recent UK gigs.

While on one hand, the actor is reportedly planning to make an on-stage appearance on Beck’s upcoming European tour. On the other hand, Amber Heard’s lawyer have recently asked the court to declare the defamation case trial a mistrial as a wrong juror was seated in the trial and order for a new trial.
